A full belly seems to be the best way to reduce cravings. I can totally understand why people start stuffing their faces when they quit. Feeling pretty good at the moment, hopefully I can get a bit more work done this afternoon than I did this morning.

Just had another pill. They don't seem nearly as effective when you don't have them after food. I think the combo of eating and then a nicotine lozonge seems to be the best way to keep the cravings at bay.
I'm a little worried that I'm not actually kicking the habit, just replacing one addiction with a more socially acceptable one.
But hey, at least there'll be fewer side effects than methadone :-)

Been trying to manage on will power alone. I'm so glad I thew out all the remaining tobacco and ciggies. I think this evening I would have totally cracked if I hadn't.
Sitting in the house on your own watching telly half heartedly is not good for keeping your mind off smoking.

Decided that sitting in the house was a really bad plan. Nipped out to the pub and met up with Tina, Phil and Amanda after Thea Gilmore gig. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but it may be because we were not in our regular pub.

Not smoking is not too bad, but attempting to remain productive was proving a struggle, so I've resorted to a nicotine mint and a short walk.
