* Last night first night back at the gym. Pulled my left bicep going, foolishly, right in to the weights I was using when lifting constantly. Ouch. Still goin' tonight though (wish I could straighten my arm dammit

Go for it. There's a couple of spicy ones out there. I vaguely remeber an oatmeal fall or winter season blend being good but can't remember where it came from. Stupid microbrews and ever changing locations. Lang Van and Cuisine Malaya should also have something to help your research.
The problem is the more you drink, the more you don't notice the spices so after effects the next day may be doublely bad unless pooing liquid fire appeals to you. .......A demon dwells within my buttocks......

I'm thinking that possibly, all things being equal, I may just make the beer, dry the peppers, and have a blend available to mix (either dry, or vodka) as an "enhancer" -- that way everyone wins :)

ah -- there's a man who knows peppers -- systematically depriving them of water until they are wilty so as to increase their heat!
The types of peppers I'm going should be fine on the heat side!
As far as mushing out, yeah, the more I've checked on that, the more they end up like a tasteless gelatenous slug -- grilling them, or drying them first seems to be a MUST
Believe it or not I've had a Jalepeno Beer. I know it was some sort of pepper, and if it is something like that you're going for, go for it!! It would probably go real good w/ a lime or lime salt. If I can find it again, I'll give you the name of it. I know it was over in Alabama cuz Valis' dad was drinking it. I also know of some people making pepper infused vodka and that it turned out well.
Ack -- the first vote FOR :) -- I think I WILL do one -- but probably "Cervesa style" -- the one I'm looking at doing is kind of chewy & flavorful on its own...though -- any idea which one you tried? :)

You thought about how to isolate the peppers in the garden so they get the drought they need?
