Went to a very classy wedding last night, met some really excellent people, and overall had an unexpectedly good time. Always a big fan of meeting new people! Though, nearly 100 degrees *AND* having to wear a jacket `bout killed me. Yay hydration

There's this organization - you may have heard of it -- the SCA. And they have people who love to brew mead and such. You know, I think there are some of those people in the area. And, I bet if you asked my other half, he might assist you in contacting some of said people, as we used to have a fair quantity of homemade mead gifted to us.

I bet there are even non-SCA groups in the area devoted to that particular craft. One might check Creative Loafing or University Magazine to see if there is a group in the area.
