I would reimburse you in cash or some manner of trade if you could make elderberry wine. My grandad was famous for it and it is one of my great sorrows that by the time I was of age to consume it, he was not there to procure it from.
In addition to the lovely goth value of it being the wine of choice in the classic "Arsenic and Old Lace".
ooh! Can you remind me post october? I'd love to -- though I'm not entirely sure what elderberry tastes like. My main limitation at this point is space and carboys (if you can imagine -- all I've made thus far and all my carboys full with mead -- but I'd be MORE than happy to make it! After the wedding when all is said and ...imbibed ... I should have the space for it so I can at least use the brew-buckets I have, in lieu of the carboys :) But yes -- please remind me -- that sounds like a lot of fun!
