After 58 days, the fixator is finally coming off.   Surgery at 12:30.  It should take an hour.    2-3 in recovery.    Tim will update at his myspace and mine, my mother will call Jencaha.    Pray for no complications.   Val, give me strength.

Mindy's mom just called....

....the surgery, from what we can tell, went very well! They didn't even put a hard cast on her foot (as originally planned) -- from what I understand, it all went so well and they decided that the less weight on her foot (cast does add weight, as y'all know), the better. Apparently all she has on her foot right now are bandages -- she can get around (hopefully) better than she's been able to do so. She can take more normal baths, showers better now; just generally move about a bit better.

Terrie (Mindy's mom) said that she was in quite a bit of pain after the surgery, but that they have her on normal painkillers right now, and all is looking good!

Good news, eh? Hopefully all will keep proceeding optimistically from this point on!!!
