Amazon won't tell me when the DVDs are coming. They seem to be immune to pouting and whining.

-The Boy watching game in basement
-me on first floor, on sofa, NOT watching the game
-laptop
-glass of water
-bottle of black cherry soda
-period reports passed up the basement stairs on our progress
-waited until it was confirmed that the game was OVER, DONE, WE WON before going down and watching the celebration on tv

Oh, and we had the Bruins Maki at the local sushi place over the weekend (black and gold roe on top). AND IT ALL WORKED.

(I swear, this morning my coworker said to me, "thank you for NOT watching the game last night!")

My coworkers think I'm a little cracked about the rituals, but had to admit today that it works.
