Renewing Car Tax - The Internet Way

So for quite a while now, the DVLA has offered the service of being able to buy car tax online. Made possible by the new, electronically recorded MOT certificate, and obviously some link to insurance companies to be able to verify you have insurance. I've used this service for the past couple of years, without giving it much of a second thought
