On a whim I stopped by the local gym (LA Fitness place) to get info about what classes they run and membership prices, and walked out with an appointment to be shown around the facilities on Saturday..... how posh

LA Fitness in London were Eeeeeeevil to me! They kept calling me claiming i hadn't paid my membership when bank statements clearly showed I had. Then when I eventually canceled it they still kept calling me telling me I owe them money and they were going to take me to court etc for not paying. I just told them to go right ahead but eventually I had to block their number from my phone and only then did they give up.

Yeah they aren't people I would normally look to for gym membership, but round here it's either that or the council run sports centre - gonna look at that too, but it kinda depends on the facilities n stuff.... not a huge choice - and don't want to look too far afield, or that'll be another excuse for not going, if it takes too long to get to.
