what the fucking hell is the da vinci code doing here? this list is thereby entirely discredited; also, watership down. though apparently many people like that, and i'm alone in thinking it's almost as much crap as the da vinci code.

also, I HAAAAAATE the DaVinci Code. I also started Watership Down and put it down very quickly because I thought it was shite. I'm surprised Dr Zhivago wasn't on the list, nor was One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovitch... I really just don't understand what some people see in some of these books.
watership down was the first book i ever didn't finish - i remember distinctly realizing that i was not bound to read it through, and just putting it down, blissfully.
i got 3 pages into the da vinci code. by that time, it had racked up so many literary sins, i could go no further.
