That tends to happen with books/movies/shows that are hyped/raved about. Not everyone is gonna get the same thing out of it. But at least it got you thinking which I think is at least something writers hope for.
It's weird how despite the many positive comments/opinions/etc. we get, there's always that one or those few negative ones that just dig in and get to us. Thought I'd suggest a sort of pick me up song from Superchick, cuz it came to mind the other day when you were feeling down. "One and Lonely" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-CWQce7KTY).
As to how I'm doing? Pretty good. Trying to motivate myself to do more, but also not fall behind in other stuff, but I'm sure you already got that from my blog. not much else happening.
