I have lived in northern Alabama for almost two years now, and over these two years, I have slowly traveled to other cities in the area. I love how every state has its own rich history behind it. :) I'd love to go to more of the Southern and Eastern U.S. since most of my traveling has been on the west coast and the north-eastern states. Sounds like you had fun!

Also, I totally want to live in one of the F. Scott Fitzgerald rooms! The Great Gatsby is my favorite book of all time, and his short stories are also amazing. I'd feel inspired to write something great staying in that house, even if he didn't live there for long.

Wow, how exciting. I shall rent one of those rooms; it is officially one of my life's goals. All your travels make me jealous!

Seeing historic places is pretty cool. Most of the ones I've been to are in TX (Grassy Knoll in Dallas, the Alamo, and within viewing distance of the capitol building in Austin), but the closest I felt to history was getting to visit the Alpha chapter of the honors fraternity I was in and seeing/touching some of founding documents and such. I also got to see some of historic Charleston, SC when Mom and Dad lived out there.

I think maybe John Green should write one of his next books from the F. Scott Fitzgerald place. It would be made of 10x more awesome than usual. :-p
