BEDA Entry 29: The Second to Last Day

Apr 29, 2009 23:32

This is the second-to-last BEDA entry, and though I really wanted it to be special and to involve potential readers, I think I'm going to go back to my roots on this one and talk about stuff I've been up to. I don't know about you guys, but I've realized that I get overly self-conscious about my entries now that I know people are going to read them ( Read more... )

I haven't been up to a whole lot.. this next weekend should be neat, though- my youth group is going to a Choir Rally, and my mom's coming, which is awesome. It's her birthday on Friday, too.. I'm excited about that, as well. :D

On the topic of singing, I'm *apparently* a soprano (I was informed this the other day). I've never sung much, and on the whole I'm very self-concious about my voice. Whether I sing well usually depends on the song. xD I'd love to be able to sing better, because I'm pretty sure I have some sort of potential.. but I can't hold notes (or a pitch) very well, or read sheet music for that matter...

Yay for singing in church!

It's ok if the 2nd to last one isn't that special. It's the last one that counts :-p

Sounds like you had an interesting week (yay for singing in church, and for gifts!). My week has been kinda interesting:
-found out something new about a friend
-had to have yet another piece of my car replaced after a somewhat major fail
-got two of three books that I ordered in the mail
-have seen a few friends in the past 2 days that I hadn't seen in a while (some much longer than others, but it was nice to see each of them)
-observed some classes at a high school
-found out mom is on the verge of quitting her job
-tried my hand at writing a story (took a break from it b/c I'm tired and wanted to catch up on other blogs...should see it tomorrow b4 my last one)
