It is okay, I understand. I just imagine what it would be like for me to have to run or swim some considerable distance and suddenly I can comprehend the struggle of attempting an activity beyond your discipline.
The beauty of cycling is that, so long as there are no major uphill sections, it doesn't have to be any harder than walking but lets you move considerably faster. For your return trip I suggest you make sure to use suitably low gears for any major uphill sections. People who are out of cycling practice frequently report knee pain when 'mashing' in a high gear as opposed to spinning a low one.

and it wasnt all downhill, few hills, but yeah. Riding jolimont to mundaring would be hard. Might do it tommorrow.
