very exciting? do you know what breed, or any other details about the furry addition to the family?

Hahaha.... I was so ecstatic about it, I didn't even say anything about him haha. His name (for the time being, we are probably gonna change it) is Riley. He's about 50 lbs, a 2 y/o yellow lab mix. We met him at "Mingle with our Mutts", a dog day at the county dog shelter... several rescue groups were there and he was from one of them. We had his foster parents bring him to our house on Tuesday and he was so sweet! He saw Slinky but didn't do too much other than look at him. I'm sure he's going to react a little more once he's living with us, but we are going to start lots of preventative training to keep him on the right track.

awww, what a handsome guy ^_^ he definitely looks sweet enough... best of luck with him!
