Oh, I just watched this the other day! (Did I get the link from you? I can't remember.) I know I don't have nearly the musical sophistication that you and your flist have, but I loved it. The piece is familiar to almost everyone, and that particular part works well with the growing number of instruments. M.
No, you did not get the link from me... I especially love to see what fun the young children have: its an audience we usually do not have in regular concerts - one definitely should do something about it.... and last advent we have done: we had a children's performance of the Christmas Oratorio (booked out!).
Fabulous! I loved to see the reactions from the people on the square, too, when they realised what was going on. And it is such a wonderfully rousing piece.
The concert will be on Saturday, 10th of August, 3 pm. I think I remember you saying that you have other obligations already...? The big minus will be that Susanne does not conduct on that occasion (at least she will sing Alto as part of the choir *gg*).
