"Minervas Eule" means Minerva's owl in german. Since I have read the greek mythology for the first time when I was about 12, Athena = Minerva has been my favourite goddess (to be the goddess of wisdom seemed much better to me than to be the one of love), and the owl is her symbol and companion (in german we also say "the owl of wisedom

Can imagine how much excited you must have been, especially when Maggie appeared to play Minerva.

In my case it is that I became a fan of Maggie through her Minerva role.
