Amusingly, Liz and I finally started watching Season 3 last night. I'd been hesitant to start, knowing that it would ultimately mean that I would get to the end, and would have no more episodes of Deadwood to watch, ever. That, obviously, sucks.

The cinematography and scriptwriting on this show are so amazing...I wonder why other people are so enthusiastic about other programming. I mean, seriously...Firefly was diverting and I enjoyed it...but it wasn't motherfucking Deadwood.

Seasons 1 and 2 were astonishing, but 3 just sort of sputters. IMHO.

But other than that, god I loved that freaking show.
