Mmmmm, blissful nostalgia, and David Bowie to boot!

I had no idea we had this in common.
I've moved so often, there was not room to ever collect even the important things. I have one shoebox. It has migrated from one shoebox to another shoebox around 1988. In this shoebox are mostly photos. Some of those photos are of you.

Fucking awesome. That was such a good trip.

There's a wacky little event every few months here in Seattle called "Salon of Shame," in which folks like yourself read excerpts from teenage diaries, old love letters, bad poetry, etc. It's hiLARious. Bring some of that fine material to Seattle some time and we'll get you in. OR start your own in NYC!

Which is about how I feel while we're doing our own version of Clean Sweep. Too many things, not enough meaning in them. I sometimes envy the people who have moved multiple times, especially from an early age - you seem so much better at deciding what things are worth keeping!
