Thanks. I am recovering incredibly fast considering how obsessed I was with the fellowship. It is worth it taking risks, I'm realizing. I was always afraid the disappointment would kill me but it's I'm finding I can actually handle it. So that's good to know!
I always go with the "there is a reason for everything" clause, but I suppose without getting the time off it really would have been frustrating. Weird about the Big Brother fascination.
It's so hard not to believe 'everything for a reason.' I know it can't literally be true but I'm already concocting a story to explain why this bump in the road will lead to something better.
I guess it is partly because Chico got turned down from what we thought was the PERFECT job and then a little while later got what really is the perfect job--for now, anyway. (Leaves time for the baby, teaches new skills and that is what matters to him now.) So now we are all about the 'everything for a reason' thinking.
Oh, man I cried HARD when he didn't get that job. He was unemployed for a year and I was pregnant when he didn't get the job. I kept waking up in the middle of the night thinking that it wasn't true! Or they were going to call us the next day and tell us it was a mistake and he'd really gotten the job! Honestly, I was CRUSHED.
