It's been a few days but I'm finally all settled in. I took a hike the other day and found a cavern that looks like nobody's been in it for a long time, so that dug into my free time before the quarter started. Maybe I should start heading out into town now that class is in? I think I'll swing by the café tomorrow evening. That should be a good

Hey, caverns aren't scary! Haha, they are a little dark though, but that's nothing a flashlight can't fix, right? I could show you sometime if you want. Oh, hey! I took some pictures while I was there last time. They aren't the best, but they'll give you an idea of what it looks like. It's actually really beautiful down there!

Sometimes there're bats, but they're nocturnal, and unless you make a lot of noise they won't wake up. If anything, they'd just fly right out of the cave. Bats don't really attack people--well, they've never attacked me, anyway. And rock monsters... Haha, that'd be pretty cool, don't you think? If I ever saw one, I think I'd like to catch it. That would be the coolest pet ever! Well, maybe not as cool as dinosaurs, but hey... Haha.
