*grumblegrumble* effing MIT security. it took me way too long to get the stupid certificates i needed just to enter the stupid HASS-D (HASS = humanities, arts, and social sciences) lottery. (and i just used "stupid" twice in the same sentence. hmm ( Read more... )

What are you studying up at MIT? That sounds way too humanities-oriented for "the Georgia Tech of the north." ;o) They have a sci/tech/society program that's sort of like what I did at Tech, but not quite...is that what you're doing?

haha, no, i'm not actually taking all those classes. :P we get to submit up to six, but we only get one. hass is mit's way of making sure nobody gets too... uh... math/sciencey, i guess. *shrug* but, yeah, i think they have a literature major, too.

HASS classes here really blow. At least, in my opinion, they do. That's why so many people take Econ as their HASS Concentration. XD

They have all of those classes at Tech, albeit with much more boring names.
