I just reread chapters 5,6,7 and 8 of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - and I don't think I want to read the last book.

I don't want to know what happens. I mean, so many avenues have already been closed thanks to the events of OotP and HBP...these characters who had the whole world ahead of them, even as late as GOF

Either way you will find out what happens (from other people, for example), so you might as well read it!
