Ubuntu is love. Though personally, I prefer Kubuntu, but that's just 'coz I to have lots of tick boxes (because let's face it, messing your computer up with the GUI is much more user friendly than having to manually edit config files to do it).
I wrote that ages ago, and I was probably drunk judging by the level of incoherence. I'm also slightly drunk now so trying to explain what I was trying to say then would probably be somewhat futile. Nevermind. Doing what your computer literate friends tell you to do is a pretty good way to go.
Hey there! I don't know if you remember me, but you once did a ADIML on Tokyo and I replied asking you about Todai?
:) Well, as it turns out - my exchange application has turned a 360 degrees and I'm now offered Todai in place of Waseda, which I'm on conditional acceptance for because of my lack of language ability. I just have a whole ton of questions about Todai and AIKOM and I would love to talk to someone who's in the program to see if this is really what I want to do.
Please give me a shout out at my LJ/email me yishhed@gmail.com if you can! I'll really appreciate it, thanks!
