Hey guys, let's talk tires! it's new tire time for my mini.

What kind of tires do you currently have on your mini? Continental? Anyone have Falken?  Nitrogen? or no?

I have Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions. They're technically too big for my wheels - the original 16" R83 5-Star wheels on my '05 need 195/55 or 205/50 plus size and these are 205/55, so I'm consistently getting about 2mpg less since the tire swap. However, I was sick of having to get fresh near-skids every 10k, so the slight loss of mpg is worth it to me due to the 40k treadwear warranty.

I have the same tires as chershey and overall I really like them. At first they seemed too cushy and didn't grip the road tightly enough for my liking. But after breaking them in, they're nearly perfect.
