Just got home from seeing PoA. Not horribly disappointed, but also not incredibly in awe of the movie. The only problem I have with it is that I think they should have spent more time developing the plot instead of just focusing on Harry's change. I have found this parody of the movie, which is hilarious. Don't read if you don't want to be spoiled ( Read more... )

Yeah, I agree. Draco was rather wimpy. I so wanted him to stay and fight them instead of running away. I mean, seriously, he's not a chicken. They're so exploiting his character. And yeah, they did mainly focus on Harry instead of the plot. It was really fast pace too. In the first two, it look soooooo long for Harry to finally read Hogwarts and in this one, he's there in less than ten minutes (well I'm not actually sure if it was that quick but it seemed like it).

But eh, I still liked it. Everything thing looked great, and it was far funnier than any of the other films.

Yeah, I thought Draco would be a whole lot tougher, since he does come from the Malfoy family. And besides, his dad is meanmovie, so I thought a bit of that would rub off on his son. I laughed when they showed him eating the green apple in the forest, right after he had that confrontation with Harry. (Didja notice Tom was slouching but was still inches taller than Dan? *lol* He's growing too fast!) And then a kid cried when Draco started yelling at one point!

It was definitely funnier, and I liked how one scene blended nicely into another. The only problem I had were the times the scene would fade into a black hole and another scene opens from another hole. That was annoying!

But basically, it was good. And everyone looked much better too!

And I liked your avie!!
