Fic rec post 001
A long time ago, I asked if you guys were interested in a fic rec post. You said yes. So, this is the first one. It's only got 4 in it, but if you guys are interested, I have a lot more to rec, in various fandoms.

That’s the first lines of the fic. It also sums up everything I love about it. It is sad, angst-ridden, and she uses parenthesis to perfection (some of you know of my love for parenthesis). That fic is an amazing character piece. One of the best fic I read, all fandom.

Why This Must Be Read: I don’t normally read/enjoy songfics, but this one is the exception. I dl-ed the song after reading and now it’s my second most listened to song. Mind you, when I read the fic (and I have read it countless of times), I always skip the song parts. Again, it is sad and angsty. Just how I love my characters. Everybody knows how much Lilly Kane loved danger. And exactly how much danger loves Lilly.

(Yes, they play drunken truth or dare. Which, usually makes me roll my eyes. But they are, after all, teenagers.)

Why This Must Be Read: I love it. Shannon is spot on. This is a very believable missing scene. (If you can’t remember, Whatever the Case May Be is the episode where he asks her to translate the French annotations.) There is this line that I adore, that is so Shannon, it shows very well how self-depreciating she is. I don’t want to quote it though, because that would be giving it away. It starts with “Right. Whatever.” And I know it by heart by now… I actually used this fic to help me right my paper that I wrote on Shannon. It’s that in character.
