Roll Call!

Apr 07, 2018 10:38

Here is a post to see if this branch of social media is being used. Please respond in the comments to let me know you're alive! I am inclined to remove this link from the Minicon web page. If you disagree, please let me know why.

Hope everyone had a good time at Minicon this year, I look forward to seeing you all next year!

I'm alive (but just barely - my legs have still not recovered from all those stairs).

It seems like it is harder every day to contact all of Minnstf.

I read LJ and DreamWidth. I do not read Facebook. If I need to send out a message to Minnstf I use the natter mailing list, which I believe is the closest thing to a universal contact method that we have left for our club. But I know there are Mnstf members who do not subscribe, including a surprising number who rarely use electronic media of any kind (my husband, for instance). I miss the paper Einblatt and the paper Minnstf address book, both of which used to be posted every month on our bulletin board (a physical bulletin board in our home, not some online thing).

What method do you normally use when you want to Contact Minnstf or The Minicon Membership?

The concom email list, the natter list (rarely), Facebook and Twitter.

Twitter makes sense, being a one-to-many protocol. I have a twitter account, but don't use it often. I might as well at least follow Minicon. Does minnstf have a twitter account?

FWIW, I'll see concom & natter, I'll never see twitter, my chances of seeing FB are slim (occasional user & their algorithms).
