that movie 'thirteen' about the crazy little girls that smoke cigarettes and drink and do drugs and *gasp* get piercings....was pretty ridiculous.
i didn't like it.
whoever told me it was good needs to be shot.
im so glad i talked myself out of renting it.
instead, i watched it on HBO.
i love TiVo.

i guess it was just a little overrated.
the acting was good.
maybe im just fed up hearing about little girls fucking up their lives. maybe its because my sister is the same age and it scares me?

No, I can see you going into it having higher expectations than it actually warrented. It totally creeped me out that this was actually somewhat based on real accounts. Co-written by a girl who was just there. But yeah, I get sick of hearing stories like that too, sometimes. Starts feeling melodramatic all the time, even if it isn't the case all the time.
