What do you write in a card for a bride & groom, in English? I'm clueless as I've never been to a wedding in English, and hence never even looked at this type of card. This is a hand-made card, calligraphy and all, but the phrasing?

Ta!

The traditional greeting is 'Congratulations' for the man and 'Best wishes' for the woman, which is an entertaining subtle difference :) You can write whatever you like, really - I am going to a wedding next month of an old friend, and I will probably say something like 'Dear X and Y, Congratulations and best wishes on your wedding day.' and possibly add some sentiment about hoping they have many happy years together/much joy and so on and so forth. Every happiness. That sort of thing.

"Wishing you every happiness on your wedding day" is another suitable phrase.
