I'm so sorry that this happened to him, and also how it has upset you, too. I understand that feeling of hurting for someone you love, who has been hurt or mistreated, all too well. The older we get the more important it is to try to hang onto our teeth, and that choice was just taken right out of Randy's control. I would never trust that dentist again, especially with this supposed treatment plan that never makes it into your hands. Grrrrrrrr....

The dentist didn't come out to say anything like, "Sorry Randy... I though we had an understanding of what was being done" or some similar apology/acknowledgement. No one in the office addressed it.
We won't be going back there. And Randy is now going to seek legal advice.
I know you and Sem know all too well about being improperly treated and the fear/upset/distrust that comes with that. The whole tooth thing is only a tiny fraction of what you and Sem have gone through... and both of us are so flippin' upset. And you've had to go through it again and again on a much larger health scale and with much bigger consequences.
