My parents said they will get some of the ashes for me. I'll pick them up next time I visit.

It's strange, when my grandparents died I didn't think much about where they had gone. But with Kevin, I keep wondering where he's at. And wherever he is, I wonder if he has any memory of his life here? The other pressing question... what does it feel like to die?

I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how disorienting and sad it would be to lose a sibling, no matter the circumstances.

My parents picked up his ashes today.

I wish he could've had a better life.
