I’m living in utter luxury. I’m working at the federal building in Denver, and I found a nifty AirBNB (under the lodging per diem) just a block away. This one bedroom is twice the size of my dream cabin, with all sorts of modern conveniences. The food per diem is more than enough for me, including odds and ends, like buying more prep bowls. That seems like a dream setting, and the decluttering is the stuff of fantasy, for me... hopefully in the not too distant future, we'll get it done.

Agreed! We spent yeatersay afterwards cleaning our place to prepare for a babysitter to arrive so The Gryphon and I could go on our post-Valentine's Day date. It is sooooo nice not having all the clutter surrounding us!

I liked Denver, once we were past the 36-hour flight disaster to get there! I seem to recall there was a legendary breakfast place downtown right off the pedestrian plaza area. Are you near there?

I've done a pretty good job of keeping the new basement decluttered. Need to really work on the upstairs.

I came to this same conclusion. I was happiest in my home before I fully moved in when it was only half-furnished and mostly empty. Now I have all my stuff and I feel like I am drowning. But it is so hard to throw things away if you never learned to throw stuff away ruthlessly.
