I got a phone call last Friday from the UW Temp Office, informing me of an available data entry position at the Interpretive Services department of the Harborview Medical Center. Sorry to hear this Amy. My inventory job is the same way...you never hear that you've done anything wrong, until you're being berated in front of a large amount of people. Very unprofessional. And due to lots of new problems that I haven't talked about, I'm really working hard towards being able to quit.

I hope you find your bigger job. : )

Dang, that totally reminds me of a few temp jobs I've had. I'm sick of the whole thing, they can basically give you the boot at any time, for any reason, with no warning, and little or no chance to explain your side of things. But at the same time, there have been a few good experiences, and one person I worked with on a temp assignment before actually recommended me to their boss at another job they had later on, and that's how I have the job I have now. :-] It's still not a full-time position with benefits, but I get to do it from home, so I get to save a lot of money on gas.
