Oh, thank goodness I'm not the only one who thinks that about Blazblue. I really only like the radio shows on NND and that's... about it.

That icon is adorable and glorious, though. He's such a cute blob.

Oh god no, you are definitely not the only one. Like I said, there are a few characters/storylines that I enjoy, but as a whole my face is perpetually in a state of ":\" as I play the games, and the majority of the characters bore and infuriate me in turns. ...Lambda is super fun to RP though and you will have to pry my enjoyment of that from my cold dead rigor mortis'd fingers.

And yes, he totally is :| Just look at him!

I didn't even get Continuum Shift, I was so disappointed with Calamity Trigger. :\ I might borrow it from someone though; I hear Lambda and Hazama were interesting characters.

Honestly, I thought Continuum Shift was actually a really big improvement over Calamity Trigger in terms of storytelling, but I'd still recommend borrowing it and/or buying it used. The storylines are a lot tidier in terms of presentation, there's not as many side paths and things that you have to play through to get 100% completion, and many of the gag routes are honestly funny and charming. The story in general also picked up a bit in terms of being something I even vaguely care about.

Of course, there's a lot of confusing bullshit tied in with it too. My main complaint about the CS story mode, though, is that it's SO FUCKING LONG. There is a ton of talking and not much fighting. YOU'RE NOT MAKING A VISUAL NOVEL, GUYS, YOU'RE MAKING A FIGHTING GAME. Jesus. Oh, and I can't stand how you have to watch the "Help Me, Dr Kokonoe!" segments after getting a character's bad end. I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR STUPID SIDE SEGMENTS JESUS CHRIST. Just let me play the damn gameSo yes, I wrote you a freakin' novel in order to give you what ultimately ( ... )
