Some time ago I witnessed this rather bizarre interaction. There's a middle aged fellow who comes out to our dances. His kids are literally the same age as our younger members, so he tends to adopt into a pseudo-dad role. I need to feel needed
Perhaps as an extension of the previous post... I do not derive much joy nor satisfaction from doing things for myself. I don't think this is something that will come from practice. Hey you kids, stop using my life as an avenue for your social agendas.
At least that's what I'm thinking in my head, but then that voice of doubt creeps in. Is it truly my life? This environment that I have cultivated, maybe it has grown past what I have sown. Maybe it's not truly mine anymore, and I have to let go.
But where do I go from here?

Something interesting about Gimli is that it seems every other restaurant offers a mix of Greek with the Icelandic. Although come to think of it there isn't too much that's really Icelandic beyond all the fish, and it's predominantly pickerel which is a Manitoban thing. Universally, I found all the service to be very friendly and approachable.
