Woke up this morning to text message noises beeping from my phone. Finally get up (slept at 6am!! grrr!) to read messages from home asking if I was ok. Reading the news now and good heavens

for me it's more like manchester, then new york, now london! my mother jokes that i'm a talented bomb dodger :P (not sure why, haven't dodged any technically!)

i think blair has come out with statements about terrorism and the g8 summit. it could be anything and anyone at this point, really! first london underground made a statement about faulty power supplies, but now it's looking more and more to be a planned attack...or at least that is what they want us to think!

okay, that might have been a tasteless comment, but still... : o/ the fact that the g8 summit isn't addressing any of the pressing issues of global cooperation (much less inclusive of non-first world nations) is pretty tasteless in of itself... : o(

I heard about the bombs this morning at work from a co-worker and I thought about you right away. I hoped you hadn't been in London and it's a great thing that you weren't! It's a horrible situation, makes no sense. Bastards...
