More patients die when there are less nurses. Shocker.
Not to mention that patient care suffers massively with fewer nurses.
My ward, for example, has cut one qualified nurse per shift. Because the trust needs to save 30 million pounds.
And at the same time there are thousands of nurses desperate for jobs in the capital.

It's like the local Trust employed a consultunt for £££ who then reported that services needed to be closed to save money at Whipps Cross, which serves both the Waltham Forest and Redbridge Boroughs, and is a teaching hospital, FFS!
