Before anyone complains - I have a toon in front of me and am working on it. I had a backlog of things in my email account this week, and I just waded through it all. Hence this:

What do you think of me making this a members only community. (By creating one and posting to it) I'd probably make it a paid one. And I would wipe all other accounts I ( Read more... )

I think it's a great idea; it's the best thing you can do to help stop new comics from being stolen (and like you said, if they get leaked and stolen anyway, you have a list of suspects).

NOooooo!! D: I can't handle having an LJ account, but if I need to, I will. Instructions'd help a lot. (I'm the anon poster whos finished Diamond and discussed Bob's Kitty horror text.)
But I can understand why you'd want to...
My main problem is that my friend, who doesn't have the internet and has to use a Library PC to get online can't set up an LJ to continue reading. She squeeees about this comic more then I do and I don't want to have to deal with her deprevation.
Its sad that you'd have to consider this to prevent stealing, but if its the only course of action....
Oh, I'm a Mod on a MyChem forum (www.mychemicalromaceforum.com/mcrf), I believe you're a member? Someone recently posted a link to one of your videos on buzznet and I have to admit I lol'd a lot when I saw your 'remove it' comment. On the ball, aren't you? :D

lol I just searched buzznet for minimcr. But now I've asked them to delete THAT account because it's too much hassle and buzznet makes me want to shower.

I am a member but not a very active one at all >.> heh. I'm not great on big forums like that.

Ugh that is a problem for your friend. This is going to be a hard decision :/

The buzznet MyChem forums make me feel extremely unclean....

I know you're not very active, if ever on at all. I just remember seeing your (and Lapifors) intro forms and giggling to myself. Its a big forum, but we try our best (and usually succeed) to keep it in hand.

I might just have to make my friend resident at my house so she can read it...

It is the best way to go, but its definately going to be a hard decision either way.

Well I love your toons and I made my account before I found this site, so I suppose I am lucky. And I guess if it helps prevent stealing then maybe its good thing…but I don't visit my LJ as often as I should, in fact I visit MySpace more so it’s convenient for me to look at your posts via MySpace. But I guess it's you choice. I love Mini MCR so I am happy with whatever you choose.

It really riles me when I see your toons on Buzznet now. It particularly annoys me when I see you've asked the user to take them down and they haven't.

I can see it would be problematic for people who don't want an LJ but I imagine lots of people who read the comic already have one ... I know I read it and wanted to compliment you and didn't realise I could post without an account so I signed up. I expect there's more people like that. And for the people who don't have an account, you could leave an easy sign up guide for them somewhere.

I love miniMCR so I'd support you whatever you decided.

lol I deleted my buzznet account, it made me feel unclean. ALso, someone just left me a note saying they take back their apologies and I should just deal with it. SO I AM. Like this.

Maybe if you can guarantee the no will be taken positevly and not as a sign of rejection to your post, which could be considered as a negative factor by the Hollywood media.
