So, the big day is approaching. Or more like the big week. Of searching for an apartment in NYC. And then figuring out how the hell I'm going to move all of my shit out there. Waiting to buy your furniture till you move out here is key. I got most of my furniture from Craigslist.com, and ALL of it was either free, or under 20 dollars...and 2 years later, it's all still standing and amazing! (well, except for one caved in set of drawers...lol.) Seriously, it's so much cheaper just buying it out here.

Yes dear, craigslist is the way to go. Wait to buy your stuff here and if there is stuff you have at home, sell it and then you will have more money to buy new stuff when you get here.
