Well, this morning there was no mouse to be seen... alive or dead. So I bought a thing that you plug in and it's supposed to make this awful noise that rodents and bugs can hear so it keeps them away... but we still didn't know where my little buddy was

We have a bunch of those pest repelent things in my house. I don't know about the rodent setting, but the bug setting that we use it for sucks. I don't think it's helped the problem at all. I'd rely on the cat if I were you.
