Students, faculty, I'm afraid that I cannot attend school for the next few weeks. The circumstances are out of my control, but I will be back as soon as possible. Can anyone inform me of the school's sick leave policy?
I'm afraid that I have some bad news to report. Dean Hawkeye, I apologize fervently for not following your earlier advice to see a doctor. It seems I...have been diagnosed with respiratory tuberculosis. As a result...for safety reasons, everyone in the school will have to be tested for it. I, myself, will not be in attendance until I am no longer contagious.
I'm so very sorry. If you're going to fire me for this...I will understand.
Edit: Oh, wow...with all that's been going on, I'd forgotten that today is Mother's Day. Nox-san lost his parents long ago...how and when I don't know. He hasn't told me, and I don't plan to ask. That is his business and his alone. But as for myself...I never had any parents.

Edit 2: Well, I've just finished feeding the pigs, opening all the windows I hope Nox-san isn't allergic to pollen... and taking care of work-related issues. Now I just have to make sure that Nox-san is cheered up a bit. He may not even notice or care that it's Mother's Day, but in case he does, something must be done! I think I'll make him a big dinner tonight. Hmmm...what should I make...
