It's been over 150 years since an English Minister for Magic has had the privilege of congratulating a victorious World Cup team of his own. I've already said all my platitudes whilst shaking hands with the teams and later on with Lee (I can only assume my remarks were cut for space), so now I'd rather say how satisfying it is to see a good friend ( Read more... )

I'm just glad that Lee talked to you and Ron before he wrote up the article. I sort of guessed that they'd say something unkind about me no matter what happened, and considering that I think it might've been worse.

They never really do, do they? Though it's nice having the Minister on my side. I won't complain there.

It was incredible. I would have wanted to play longer, ideally, but some things tend to come down to a critical choice.
