oh bah, i bet the 11-5=6hrs are hanging out at berkeley enjoying life and/or company and/or lack thereof(?). 2.5 hrs each way is admittedly quite the pain, but the above phrasing seems rather creatively overdramatized.

or am i completely wrong?
