So...I've been awake since 4am. wtf? I don't know what is up with me. I could be sleeping til 6:30am! But no. I crashed around 10 or 10:30 last night and I haven't been sleeping well anyways, but this is recalculus

i rarely log in here anymore and seem to have missed several of these baby updates. that's funny that helena didn't want to think about or look at the baby moving around inside your tummy. i can kind of understand her hesitancy, though, despite her love of monsters and stuff. it *is* kind of freaky to think about something like that *actually* happening and not just being another version of Aliens or something. :P

i never knew the whole etiquette thing about baby showers (the five or six years between kids thing). i always just figured if you were having a baby, you had a baby shower! i mean, of course it makes sense that if the kids were closer in age that you might not need a crib, stroller, and all of the "big ticket items", but you still need clothes (if you know the genders are going to be different, at least), diapers, new binkies, and other essentials. silly etiquette!

towards the end when she saw without even wanting to, it was kind of intriguing for her, but she never just sat and watched for movement.

yeah, sometimes etiquette is good though, as in this case cause we had nothing really but crib and a older child's high chair.
