Expect to be for a while - Jackson and I sniffled for a good long while after the movie, and everytime Serenity was mentioned. Now we just don't talk about it anymore. Heh.
It's a horrible moment, but I think it's also a testiment to Joss that it is so devastating to all of us who are dedicated to the series. He made that character so believable for us, made us love him so much, that his loss couldn't be anything other than devastating. Hell, I couldn't even watch that scene the second time I saw the movie - I had to turn away.
But I have to say, I'm glad Mal didn't kill the Operative - he was sooo cool! Mind you, I do have a thing for assassins. ;-)
Oh man I can't wait until the movie comes out here. I wanna see it *again*!! *bounceboucebounce*
