The new James Bond was announced to little fanfare - I caught in in the Standard tonight. No less that DANIEL CRAIG!

Hmm, now that you mention it, he does have just a tad of east-end bruiser about him. *g* But on looking at the pics above again, I could believe he was Naval. Bond started in the Navy, and I think Craig fits that.

Oh my...sorry for the late response to this but I've been on an LJ hiatus (this is Ali!)...but, wowah, what a great Bond choice. I finally saw Layer Cake and saw, oh how I saw, what a great choice this man is for Bond. He is not what I pictured as Bond. A blond Bond? GASP!!!

Coming to terms with the blondness, oh my goodness, what a good Bond this man should make!
