Hey Trog! You found a hell of an excuse to get out of London, Miss. Should I be checking my armpits more?
I haven't a clue about any of the fine, fine things you've actually asked for help for... However, I do finally have my Edge of Darkness DVDs back (from the very dear friend who swore blind I hadn't lent them to her, nononono!)
Did you want a copy still? I know it was a million years ago that you were interested, but in case you still are, I thought I'd ask. Also have The Champions on DVD now, in case you're old enough like me to be able to remember back that far.
Or, basically, anything else that doesn't require smart stuff like IT skills or knowledge of hardware... Let me know.
Hey sweetie, I thought I'd lost you from the face of my earth! Yes, I'd still love to see EoD again - wonderful stuff. Should I mail you my new Snail addy?
Wow! The Championns - I *do* remember that - Superheros with beehives and telepathy - it's hell at the top! *g*
I missed commenting on your other entry -- holiday challenge fic has made my LJ participation very spotty atm -- but I'm so glad to see you back and posting!
That's one kick-ass scooter. I think you should get blades installed on the wheels, à la Ben Hur. (Also, carry a whip.)
I don't need any kind of licence to drive it as it stands now, but I'm pretty sure that the authorities would frown upon the high rate of lacerated pedestrians, no? *g*
This is an example of one that looks neat at a small size (I think 6 pixels, but I could be wrong, it's one of those ones that looks good at the 'right' number of pixels and off at every other size. Maybe it's 8 or 9 pixels. Definitely quite small:
We've had an HP2200d laser printer for a few years now, and it's been excellent -- very reliable, and reasonably quick, does double-sided printing, which is handy for printing long stories. It's only black and white printing, though.
HP don't sell that exact model any more (although I guess you might be able to find one on e-bay) but I'm sure they do an equivalent. The pervious HP we had (inkjet) was also very reliable.
Sorry I can't help; too stoopid. Had to comment on the coolness of the scooter, though. Friend of mine has a similar one, and got a bloke who decorates Hells' Angels' bikes to paint leering demons on it. He terrorises the back streets of Blackpool most effectively.

I'm pretty sure the icon I'm using here has text with the 04b font.
*Loves and hugs* I've been thinking about you. *Smooch*

That sounds so cool! Although in my position, I probably should think of resale value! Heh.
