(no subject)
So we still haven't figured out what is wrong with the van. Which means instead of being repaired and road worthy, it's still in the garage up on blocks. Which means for the foreseeable future I will need to drive hubby to work at 6:30 AM and pick him up at 3:30 PM. This will cause havoc in our schedules, not to mention getting Ben to gymnastics after school.
Hubby thinks its the water pump and that isnt a job he can do himself as the engine needs to be raised on blocks to access the pump.
So it looks like we may need to have it towed to a garage and then pay the big bucks to have it fixed. We put $1000 into it not too long ago. It's about time to take it for a spin in the woods and shoot it while it's not looking. Can't afford to replace it right now though.

And CAA won't tow vehicles from the driveway. So. We're going to make an appointment at the garage. Then on that day, we're going to push the damn van out of our garage, out of the driveway, off of our street and down towards the highway (about 500 feet...all downhill). And THEN we'll call CAA and have them tow it to the garage. More than one way to skin a friggen cat. Fawkers.
