[He's just passing by. On the way back from one of the long walks that Junpei seems to need like breathing, with Phoebe the Cranidos and Miki the Togepi riding on her back, carrying the unfamiliar egg in his arms for lack of a better place to put it. He doesn't really know about pokémon eggs, nor does he recognize it as a Cubone egg. But for some reason, it'd be strange to just leave it to sit in his room somewhere.]

[Are you okay is redundant. Is something wrong and What happened are equally redundant. Someone left, he'd heard, but hadn't known what to say. He steps closer, a little, minding the pokémon surrounding the boy and wondering if they'll allow him.]

[ The dogs raise their heads when they hear Junpei and Shinjiro approaching. Pip, of course, recognizes the arrivals and bounds off the bench to greet his friend, introducing his newly found father and happily asking if Junpei wants to play.

Miles looks up at the call of his name, as well. He's perfectly calm--on the outside at least. ] Oh, hello.

[Junpei always wants to play. Of course, he also introduces Phoebe and Miki, and asks with a worried glance if Pip's trainer is okay after the introductions are over.

Shinjiro can't, exactly, tell that this is only a front. But he doesn't have to be able to see it in order to know, given the news.]

[ Trainer is not okay because his littlebig sister went home, but Pip thinks he will be okay, because trainer is not alone.

Miles himself gets to his feet, sliding off the bench, finding it impolite of himself to speak to someone--someone older, especially--while sitting when they are still standing. ] I went to the Center to switch out my Pokémon this morning, before we found him. [ He gestures to the newest dog. ] I just haven't gone back, yet.

[Larry isn't quite sure what to say at first. He's pretty disappointed that Franziska is gone. She was the one who got him back on track, and he liked the feeling of having a rival. But he knows it's much worse for Miles. Much, much worse. She's his sister, after all.

So Miles is just going to see Larry looking somewhat contemplative. He hasn't realized he already hit record. Whoops.]

[ Admittedly, though, he's a little relieved that Larry didn't start off immediately with an "I'm sorry." He kind of hopes that Larry wouldn't say it, either, because sorries are something he associates with real loss. Real loss is like losing Gregory. ]
