[The feed opens to show a very hyper, very happy Growlithe grinning at the camera, and then she looks up and spins in a circle, trotting off-screen before the camera turns and shows Miles Edgeworth with a Poliwag jumping up and down next to him. Pess and Tadpole are back in action, guys! Littleworth, although he wasn't grinning like a retard or ( Read more... )

[Okay, something is seriously off. First Phoenix and now Miles? He's coming to find you, mister. But until then...]

Who's Miss Hawthorne? [And why does that name sound familiar?]

[!!]

You do?

Have you met her? --back where you came from, I mean.

No, nothing like that. Her name shows up in a few case files and not for good reasons, if I'm remembering right.

.....Then she definitely cannot be planning anything good here, either, Mr. Apollo.

--- what happened to her, though? Has she been caught by your time, or...?

Probably not. And unless we do something, Mr. Wright might just walk right into a trap.

Yeah. [Forehead poke. Hmm, wasn't she executed too?]

We need to keep him from running to her like a lovestruck romantic, if we find out where she is.

[...that's great, Miles, but how? He can't really put a leash on Phoenix. Well he could, theoretically.]

If we do find out where she is, how are we going to keep Mr. Wright from running off?

Knowing Phoenix he'd sneak off on his own -- which he did/does.]

If we had a psychic Pokémon, we may have been able to put him to sleep...

Maybe we should lock him up somewhere.

[Oh, don't worry. Apollo is going to chew him out when he gets back.]

...I don't think either of those options are ethical. Besides, we couldn't restrain him forever.

[Unless Dahlia bites a chunk out of Phoenix first.]

It would buy us time until we found out her true intentions, though.

Just-- he can't be alone with her.

We could follow him, I guess.

---We could.

I don't see how that idea is any less ethical than mine, but...

[Yes it is, Edgeworth.]

[[ ooc; They totally should follow Phoenix. I'll call Nick tonight and ask her about it! :D b

It's the only thing I can think of. If we can't stop him, we could at least keep him out of as much trouble as possible this way.

[Lmao oh god. Apollo Justice and Miles Edgeworth: best ninjas ever. Or not.]

True... Miss Hawthorne has a bug-type, so even if she attacks Wright, our Growlithes can easily take it down.

Wright may not appreciate us following him, but I don't want him getting hurt, or worse, killed. I think Miss Hawthorne is capable of that.

[[ ooc; They magically blend in with the green grass despite their red clothes! I think it'll be pretty epic.]]

I'm hoping it won't come to that.

He's probably going to be pretty upset. It is an invasion of privacy.

[Even so, he can't let anything happen to Phoenix. Not just because of ~the future~. In spite of everything, Apollo knows that Phoenix is a good person who doesn't deserve to die just because he's a stupid idealist who really needs a reality check. And Trucy doesn't deserve to be put through any more pain. She needs him.]

He can try to sue us for all I care. I'd rather he hates me than watch him get hurt, maybe even die.

[His determined look softens, and he averts his eyes.]

I don't want to see another father leaving his child, either.
